You were tattooed in a modern studio with sterilized instruments and pigments. If you follow these simple directions you will have a quick healing and attractive tattoo.

The life of your tattoo is dependent upon the care it receives in the first few days. Keep the tattoo covered with the bandage for a least two hours. If gauze sticks to the skin, wet the area with lukewarm water, then remove the gauze carefully. Once exposed wash tattoo thoroughly with soap and water, remove all surface blood and rinse off all remaining soap.

Do not rebandage the tattoo.

Do not apply vaseline.

Do not apply alcohol.

Do not rub, scratch or pick at tattoo.

With clean hands, apply a small amount of A & D ointment and massage it into the tattoo. Do not expose to direct sunlight, swim or soak in sauna, steam bath, or bathtub for two weeks. Be sure any clothing which touches your tattoo is clean and soft.

Your tattoo will develop a layer of dry skin. Apply ointment two to three times daily until this layer falls off naturally. Do not let tattoo dry out.

After the dry skin falls off, there will be a period of adjustment it is advisable to apply a hand lotion.

The healing process usually takes about two weeks, this time may vary. USE COMMON SENSE !!!
